Frottage Drawings

Frottage is a technique of taking a direct impression of a surface pattern by laying a sheet of paper over it and rubbing lightly over it with soft pencil or crayon. I have used charcoal , conte and pencil. This pattern is from a metal tag that came on my sons board shorts when purchased some of you may recognize it!

Projection Drawings

This is some of the work I've been doing in class's at school. It's been a lot of fun experimenting and pushing paper and thoughts around. These are some of the outcomes of my drawing classes.
I have used the camera, overhead projector, photo copy machine and a drawing as a final result in pen charcoal and pastel.

Rain Puddle Reflections

These photo's were taken on my way to the train. The reflection is that of the fence in a rain water gutter. I have shown you the before the rain puddle and what it normally looks like dry.

Art can be found in the most unusual places!

Water Refections

These photo's were happened upon while having coffee at Sanctuary Cove the wind dropped to reveal these reflections. Which soon disappeared again.
